I wish I could put 10 stars for absolutely everything. My family and I have sincerely never felt more welcome in any restaurant we have ever been in. The service is outstanding. All of the employees were kind beyond words - absolute gentlemen. The food was perfect, with my mum saying it was the best Indian food she has ever eaten. The lamb was the most gorgeous lamb we have ever had in a curry - one of the gentlemen told us how they source their lamb and they truly put care and attention into every detail. Even though it was a very busy night for everyone working there, they still managed to make the experience beyond perfect. It was my birthday dinner with my parents and we are thrilled we chose to come here. I have been a handful of times before and every single time they have gone above and beyond to make sure we have had the best time. If you want the most delicious Indian food in Lancaster, with the most wonderful staff, within a beautiful building, this is the place to go. Came to this restaurant to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary,from the second we arrived the staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about the food and ingredients.The food was piping hot when it arrived.The food was excellent and very tasty.After eating we sat in a lounge area where we were given a complimentary drink courtesy of the management to celebrate our anniversary. All in all a very pleasing experience and will definitely return.
Lovely building. Reservation recommended. Fine dining Indian style.You can tell the food was cooked if not prepared that day. After eating their nan bread cooked in an oven you'd not want to go back to store bought. The menu details the ingredients and you can taste it. Lots of meat in their curries and good size portions. The waite staff are impeccable and attentive.
Lovely tasty food my sag curry was excellent...as was the rest of our meal. The staff are very welcoming and very friendly .... they couldn't do enough for us... and we got complimentary poppadom and tea & coffee so good... would highly recommend paying a visit.
We turned up without a reservation and they found us a table. The food is fresh and so very tasty. Service is impeccable and I wish they would open near us in Liverpool.
Absolutely brilliant restaurant. Really good service, excellent food, great decor, not at all expensive for what you get compared to other places. Only possible negative was it was a bit noisy but that was down to other customers and out of the control of staff. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend. Honestly wish I could give 6 out of 5. First time visitors on a Monday night and the staff were fantastic. They totally understand that you don't need every course asap and want time to enjoy the food. Naz was particularly friendly to us out of owners. 3 or 4 single malts to choose from after an awesome meal. Had a Babar Haandi and the crispy fried onions on top were awesome. I've eaten in India and all over the UK and this place was outstanding. Well done team!
Never visited here before. Initially there was a booking problem which was entirely our fault. Table had been booked online but not in Lancaster restaurant but one in Wigan! The man who greeted us explained and said that they were fully booked but whilst doing so was thinking quickly and offered us a table just for an hour. We accepted and the 3 of us settled in. Service was very good with regular checks to see if everything was ok and did we need any more drinks etc. We ordered a variety of dishes and all of the food was excellent. Atmosphere was good and I think that it is obviously a very popular eating place. Can recommend without hesitation.
